Dear Friends,

I am sending this out on the advice of a good friend.

This coming Saturday, anyone who has some free time, is invited up to the ranch to see the place and the vision, and get the opportunity to work :-)

I have several projects that I could really use the help with getting this place ready for winter and the staff moving in here this fall before winter hits. Keep in mind that I am told I can expect up to 6 feet of snow on the ground, so getting the place ready for winter is a BIG priority right now.  Bring a sack lunch, your work gloves, and whatever else you need to do the job below that you would like to help out with. I will also have a pot of chili or something here for lunch to share while I present our vision and plans for the place while you eat. Bring your RV and camp out Saturday night (bring hotdogs and marshmallows *grin*) if you want. If people stay over, we may plan a church service for Sunday morning here as well.

Directions: Hwy21 to Idaho City. In the vicinity of mile marker 31 (2miles past Grimes Creek turnoff), turn right on county road 377, also known as Thorn Creek Road. Go up Thorn Creek rd to mile marker 4 and DO NOT turn right with the main road. It is washed out and you will end up in the creek. Instead go straight on the smaller driveway-looking road. Go one more mile and turn right on Yellowpine way. Just across the creek, turn left and the ranch is the first place on the left. Park below the house in the field (below the big pinkish colored rock house on the hill).

These are some of the things that I wanted to get a start on and/or accomplish this Saturday (though I am told by people that know what I am up against that it will take more than one Saturday of work).

1. Cut, split, stack 10~15+ cords of firewood. (Lots of down trees and slash piles to pull from).

2. Bury exposed water lines

3. Fix burst plumbing (copper and galvanized) pipes under prayer cottage.

4. Fix stable/corral fence

5. Begin stabilizing the foundations of several buildings.

6. Clean up some of the electrical wiring

If you can help out with any of these things, it would be very much appreciated.

And pray for me too if you think of it. I am slogging through IRS non-profit paperwork this week and not enjoying it..... *sad chuckle*

Sincerely and In Christ,

-Tim Benedict
