Dear Friends,

All our Boise area friends and supporters (and anyone else who wants to make the trip) are invited to a wedding reception and dessert potluck/fellowship time for Tim and Karen Benedict, on October 1'st, 2006, from 2-4 pm in the gym at Parkview Bible Fellowship Church in Boise, Idaho (2620 N 36th, Boise, ID). Bring a desert dish (drinks will be provided), and let's enjoy each other's company. For those of you who want to meet Tim's new bride and her kids, this is your chance :-)

Yesterday was our (Tim and Karen) one month wedding anniversary. Whew! And things are good.... mostly. We are still trying to get settled into the ranch lodge as a new family, while I continue to work on my manuscript editing job to try to make ends meet. Oh how I wish we were already doing support raising, but I can't yet, simply because we are still living out of boxes in some ways. Anyone know where I can buy a few more hours each day so that I can finish unpacking Karen's house here, blend our families, teach 6 kids in homeschool here, work on ranch stuff, winterize the lodge (our temporary home), and still make enough money to put food on our table? It gets very overwhelming sometimes for both Karen and myself, and frustrating. Pray for us if you think of it. :-)

We are also meeting with the ranch owners again and a mortgage broker tomorrow (Thursday) to discuss the ranch contract and funding. Pray that that goes well also...

A couple named Marty and MaryBeth arrived here on Monday, to check the place out as a possible option for them to get involved. We have enjoyed their company, and they have been a tremendous blessing for the 3 days that they have been here so far. There are taking today and tomorrow off though to seek God's face and special plan for them, before committing to the ranch here for the winter. Pray that God shows them where they will be happiest serving Him.

Does anyone have an RV that they are just paying space/storage rent on right now, that wouldn't mind just parking it up here for free for the winter, and allowing us to house individuals and couples that want to winter here and help get the ranch up and running for next summer's camping season? We have people that want to come and help, and no place for them to live..... 

God is good, all the time.... :-)
